Puritan Cleaners community

We collect coats of all sizes every November during our Coats For Kids campaign. We average over 15,000 coats collected every year. We wash and repair them and then deliver to the Salvation Army for distribution to Central Virginia’s needy families.

Puritan joins the Central Virginia Food Bank each spring to raise food and funds for the 100,000 Meals For Kids program. We collect non-perishable foods and donations at all of our locations and through our Free Home Delivery.

Show your support for our troops – write them a note of thanks! Puritan’s Thank You Patriot program is a quick and easy way to demonstrate your support for our military.

Puritan will clean any American Flag for free. Everyday. Any day. We are big supporters of patriotism in the Richmond and we love to see our neighbors fly their US flag. Any day, any time. We encourage all of our friends to fly their American Flag proudly.

Puritan has partnered with the Midlothian Junior Womens Club for The Cinderella Dreams Project. This program provides prom dresses for area high school girls, lifting the financial burden of parents and teens on a tight budget.

Every summer on a specific Wednesday, everyone in Richmond can get one pair of pants cleaned for free on “Free Pants Wednesday”.
