Puritan Named Distinguished Retailer Of The Year by Retail Merchants Association

Gary Glover, President of Puritan, enters via the red carpet for the Retail Merchants Association Annual Awards celebration. Puritan came away with the top award: Distinguished Retailer Of The Year. High standards in business and extensive charity work were cited as reasons to name Puritan with this accolade. “I’m embarrassed to get this award,” said Glover. “This is for the 220 employees at Puritan. I’m honored to accept it on their behalf.”

One of America's Best

Puritan Cleaners was selected as one of America’s Best Cleaners.

America’s Best Cleaners (ABC) is a national organization that strives to locate and recognize the best dry cleaning establishments throughout the United States. “As we find great cleaners, we recognize them as someone customers can trust with their most expensive and delicate garments,” said Chris White of ABC. “Very few get chosen each year.”

Puritan Cleaners has again been voted the Best Dry Cleaner in Richmond by the readers of Richmond Magazine. This year we were recognized for being the ‘Best Green Cleaner’ and for having the ‘Best Shirt Laundry’. Once again, more quality and convenience for you makes us the market leader year after year.

Voted Best in Richmond

From Style Weekly: “With 13 locations, Puritan is one of Richmond’s best-known brands. But a commitment to the community sets it apart too. Puritan doesn’t just get the stains out, the company works with the Salvation Army to collect coats for the poor, feeds the hungry and even provides prom dresses to those who can’t afford them. Did we mention Puritan’s Pledge of Allegiance? Yes, the company cleans American flags for free.”

Thanks to all who voted for us. We appreciate it.
